Carle Health, Leading Vertically Integrated Health System in Illinois, Expands Rad AI Omni to All Its Radiologists
Medical Director at Carle Health sees Rad AI Omni as a must-have, ranking it at the top of his list of AI Solutions
Urbana, Illinois (September 29, 2022) -- Carle Health, a leading vertically integrated health system in Illinois, announced it is expanding its partnership with Rad AI, to use its advanced technology for generating customized radiology report impressions and consensus guideline recommendations. This builds on Carle’s ongoing innovative technology initiatives by enabling their radiologists to create reports more efficiently and accurately, while improving radiologist satisfaction and decreasing burnout.
“When we recently discussed our expansions and renewals for AI solutions, we saw Rad AI as a must-have. If we were to rank our solutions, it's at the top. With a high volume of high acuity cases, Rad AI Omni helps us manage our caseload. The performance continues to improve -- in 90 to 95% of the impressions that it generates, I don't have to edit anything, and the consensus guideline recommendations are working really well.”
- Dr. Juan Jimenez, Associate Medical Director of Radiology, Carle Foundation Hospital
Rad AI’s Omni solution automatically generates a customized radiology report impression from the findings and clinical indication dictated by the radiologist, using state-of-the-art neural networks. It learns each radiologist’s language preferences from prior reports, to create an impression that the radiologist can simply review and finalize.
In addition, Rad AI improves report accuracy and consistency by automatically including significant incidental findings, helping to answer the main clinical question, and providing the latest consensus guideline recommendations for follow-up. The impression appears in the practice's voice recognition software as soon as the radiologist finishes dictating the findings, without any clicks, hotkeys, or new windows.
“To hear one of the medical directors of a leading health system share that our product is a must-have and ranks at the top of their AI solutions is a powerful testament to Rad AI Omni. It’s a similar sentiment being shared with us from all of our hospital, health system, and practice partners across the country. This type of feedback is why we believe CB Insights included us as the only radiology company in its list of ‘100 Most Promising AI Companies.’”
- Dr. Jeff Chang, ER Radiologist and Co-Founder of Rad AI
